To work collaboratively with the Doctors’ surgery teams to improve security, safety, and wellbeing of both staff and members of the public within the practice environment.

We make the case for investment in violence prevention through three key areas

Intangible costs

Estimated monetary value prescribed to the pain and suffering and reduced quality of life, experienced by the victim of violence

Indirect costs

Estimated economic costs of the productivity losses eg. Reduced workplace productivity due to turnover, sickness absence

Direct costs

Medical care expenditure for diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation, medication and counselling costs

Non healthcare costs

eg. Transportation, household expenditure, litigation or tribunal

Practice Support Officers

Purpose

Building partnerships that focus on the demands of the practice, recognising cultures, priorities and needs.

To deliver, support and understand how the practice works in order to provide the best patient experience in 7 key areas;

Workforce Diversity

GP Surgeries geographically cover every part of the UK. Within these areas are some of the most diverse and cultural groups of people, therefore we will always want to reflect that diversity in our workforce.

GPS Workshops

Purpose

This guidance is part of our training for making NHS staff and their people aware of the potential threat of an attack at a place of work.

This part of the training uses role play, therefore creating a deeper impact. Better understanding and increased learner engagement / Teamwork. It increases knowledge retention and allows for failure and learner opportunities

The objective is to build learner confidence promoting safe working practices when dealing with challenging behaviours

We develop people’s ability to create a situation of conflict resolution and de-escalation, enabling escape from potentially violent acts.

Purpose

How to respond amidst patient aggression through a psychological mindset.
